Hello, I’m Coach Arsenio Elliott and I will be your scholar's Physical Education Teacher this year. I am very excited to join the family here at JRSCDCA.

I was born and raised in Decatur, Alabama where I was introduced to education from an educator standpoint by my late mother, Tabitha McLaurin, who was a Special Education Teacher at Decatur High Developmental.  While attending Austin High School began working as a teacher aide for our Special Needs students. I graduated from The University of North Alabama with a degree in Physical Education. I began teaching at Genesis Academy Learning Centers in Nashville, Tennessee and was a Teacher/Counselor there for four years. I worked as a Collaborative Teacher in Huntsville City Schools for three years.

I am going into my second year as the Defensive Coordinator for the Bama Hit Squad Football Team based out of Decatur, Alabama. I began coaching youth league football in Nashville, Tennessee with the Bordeaux Eagles. I have playing experience at Austin High School (Decatur) and The University of North Alabama (Florence).

I enjoy spending time with my family, working out, listening to music (podcasts), cooking, watching sports (I am an Auburn, UNA, Philadelphia Eagles, Boston Red Sox, and LeBron James fan), going to sporting events, training young athletes, and reading.

I am very excited to add my experiences, passion for teaching young children, and love for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to the family here at JRSCDCA.
