My name is Pamela Lee Purnell, I am originally from Wilcox, Alabama. I arrived in Madison County in 2010 to attend Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University AAMU in Normal, Alabama.

At AAMU I studied English Literature and Foreign Languages and earned my Bachelor of Arts degree.  I am currently enrolled at Alabama A&M University pursuing a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education.

My ultimate goal which I WILL achieve one day soon will be to become a State Superintendent.

I am passionate about education, and I want to change the lives of the children who enter my classroom for the better.
