Ms. Megan Fomby

Greeting to all of you…

I would like to welcome you to Ms. Megan Fomby’s world. Education is my DNA and I absolutely LOVE children!! This year starts my 3rd year of teaching and I am delighted to be chosen for such a great profession. My favorite subjects to teach are Math and Science. Learning new things is what keeps my career exciting and innovating.

I graduated from Lincoln High School in 2008 and after graduating; I attended college in Huntsville, Alabama. In 2012 I received my Bachelor of Science in Biology at Alabama Agricultural & Mechanical University (AAMU). I became a Senior Lab tech at Huntsville Hospital. While working on my master’s degree in elementary education I am blessed to say I am a Julius R. Scruggs CDCA Kindergarten teacher and I’m loving every minute of it!!!

My aspirations in life are to become a mouthpiece for education. I love to mentor, assist, and support new teachers coming into the education field. During my spare time, I love to spend time with my daughter and my family. Reading and crafting are just a few of my hobbies. I also love me some AAMU FOOTBALL!!!!
