My name is Rosalind L. Maldonado. I am from Memphis, Tennessee. I graduated from the best HBCU, the one and only Alabama A&M University! I have a B.S. in Elementary Education and Early Childhood and a Master’s in School Counseling. I am also an Auburn fan, but I will always be a Bulldog! This is my second year as the JRS-CDCA librarian, and I love it! Teaching is my first love though. I have been teaching since 1996. I taught preschool, 1st, 3rd, and 5th grade. I am married and have a son who attends JRS-CDCA. During my free time I like to read and bake cakes, cookies, and pies. One of my favorite Bible scriptures is Isaiah 40:31 “But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.” I am honored to be working with your scholar and I look forward to an exciting school year with the magnificent JRS-CDCA Eagles!!
