Ms. Edna Godfrey-Fisher – K3

 

Hello my name is Edna Godfrey-Fisher and I have been employed at JRS CDCA for over twenty-five years. During that time I have worked in several different capacities. This year, I am a K-3 teacher.  I am often asked,  "How do you work with other people’s children all day?" I can truly say I love my job. It is a blessing to watch their little minds work and see the joy and excitement when they master a new skill. 

 

I am the birth mother of two amazing sons and one phenomenal granddaughter.   They keep me busy! One of my favorite passages in the Bible is Psalms 139. I love how it says no matter where we go God is there watching over us.  Before we were formed in the womb, God knew us and was there. He thinks our thoughts are precious and even more than that he knows the number of hairs on our head.

I have taken classes in Early Childhood Education at Calhoun and Alabama A&M University.  I look forward to another great year at JRS CDCA.
