The purpose of the PTO is to promote unity in our school family through implementation of parent-teacher programs, open communication, fellowship and encouragement of one another, our administration, teachers and CDCA Board.
Membership is $10 per person (only pay once even if you have multiple children at the school). Grandparents and other family members may join as well. Please provide a good email address and phone number for communication.
Monthly meetings are on the Third Thursday of each month (some of the meetings will be used for school events like the Christmas Program, Black History Program and Science Fair Awards).
Room Parents are needed for each class/teacher. Room Parents help with coordinating information to parents from the teacher or for PTO events and activities. Parent Volunteers will be needed throughout the school year for various school and PTO events. Please be responsive and assist where needed to ensure proper coverage for each class.
